The UTS BSoc Mentoring Program

If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself before you started university?

While BSoc doesn’t quite have those time-travel superpowers, we want YOU to be a mentor for incoming first years, so you can pass on all that wisdom and experience of yours.
You’ll help shape students’ university experience, open yourself to a new network, AND if you successfully complete all program requirements, get a reference letter from the Dean of Business for your efforts!

And what’s a mentoring program without people to be mentored?
The registration link for first year students hoping to become a mentee is listed below. More info on the event is on the way, so make sure you click ‘Going’ to easily stay updated!

For any student midway or near their final year of uni, becoming a mentor is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact, improve your social capabilities and have fun! We can assure you that it will be super fulfilling to know that you are helping your mentee gain knowledge and adapt to university life.

Whether it be through giving them pep talks about how to manage Accounting A, or even simply reminding them to tone down skipping lectures every week to eat dumplings. We’ll let you decide!
